2013-2014 Senior Reps

Chelsea Design & Photography is kicking off its Senior Rep Program and you could be one of its spokesmodels for the class of 2013! If you’re not familiar with a senior rep program, its a way for seniors to have a fabulous FREE senior portrait session with the opportunity to earn additional discounts on prints and products, just by helping me get more clients through referrals.

HOW IT WORKS:
You complete a 1-2 hour senior portrait session with me – up to 3 clothing changes in various locations. A few days after the shoot you will receive some “senior rep cards” that will have a photos from your session on the front, and my contact information on the back. Its basically like your own personal business card. For each person you refer, that books and completes a session with me, you will receive additional discounts and credits towards your print order. The more you refer the more you receive. It’s like having a really fun part-time job and you get back what you put in!!

**Referral must present the senior representative’s referral card and referral must have completed their session for credit to occur.**

WHAT YOU GET:
•  FREE on-location 1.5hr session tailored to you!  •  10 Watermarked images for you to use on Facebook  ••  50 Rep Cards with photos from your session to pass out to friends and family  ••  10% off print and product orders  •  Opportunity to earn more FREE prints and products  •

HOW TO APPLY:
Send an email with your NAME, AGE, CITY, SCHOOL and a short paragraph to explain why you think you would be a good candidate to represent Chelsea Design & Photography to Chelsea at:  chelseadesigndfw@gmail.com

Balancing Act

It is just that, isn't it? An act.
I have pursued balance for much of my adult life and now I see why it has remained so illusive. I have been pursuing the wrong thing. Jami Nato wrote so eloquently about this very thing on her blog Hello from the Nato's that I would probably just quote her entirely if I were to broach the subject. Instead, I'll just let you read her words here. Enjoy.

Bible Verse Prints - Valentine's Day Edition

God is perfect love. God's perfect love is unconditional.
Nothing can separate you from God’s perfect love.
God pours His perfect love into my imperfect heart.

My New Love

Sweet Baby Green. Oh, how I love you.

February to May in 5 min or Less!

5. We went to Disney & Universal Studios (Hogwarts) with Family and Friends:

It was Magical!

4. Cameron found out he was going to be a big brother:
He is SUPER excited :)

3. Lots of photographing: Seniors. Children. Babies. Brides.

2. Rearranged furniture and updated our fireplace in preparation for Baby Green:
This little guy was NOT much help!

1. We found out...
(My YoungLife girls helped me celebrate this one with a Pre-Prom brunch!)

It has been a Busy and Fun 4 months and this doesn't even begin to scratch the surface! Now, we are winding down another school year and preparing for an equally busy summer!

I made that...

How handsome is this kid?!

Those eyes, those cheeks! He is his mother's child..

Not really sure why we're green... It isn't like that before uploaded...
I wish he would stop growing up.

Instagrams.

I feel as though I have yet to discover the full creative potential of Instagrams.

But, I can say that I have enjoyed what this app does to my pictures :)

Follow me if you Instagram! (I am not entirely sure how you follow me, either...)

Cinnamon Love & Updated Goodie Jars

The antique store "Goodies Jars" I posted about over the summer have had a rotation of fun items in them since then; jelly beans, Halloween candy, trinkets... The most recent is definitely my favorite addition to the jars:

Autumn color flowers, a yummy candle and cinnamon sticks (all purchased for 80% Off at Hobby Lobby)

My favorite is the cinnamon sticks. Love the smell and the look!

Holiday Cards

The Smith Family Christmas Card - Front

Along with photographing families, I get to design Christmas Cards, too! It is a great way for me to use my love for designing and my love for people together. I do all of the designs custom to the images and the desires of my clients.

There is still time to book a session and have your family pictures taken! Call or email me today!

Precious Moments

It is that time of year where we view our families in a different light. A time when we want to freeze memories and make them last forever. The holidays open our eyes to the blessings we have around us and photography can help capture precious moments to look upon for many years to come.

The Smith Family allowed me to capture the sweetness of their son, Harrison, last weekend. We had so much fun exploring Deep Ellum on his level; following him around and discovering what made him smile. It was such a fun time and we got many excellent images from it! I can't wait to share more of them!

Fun with Football & My Camera

Cameron has been playing football this fall and is somewhat loving it. I, on the other hand, have been loving the opportunity to get out my big camera and take some fun shots of Cameron, his buddies and the siblings that collect at the games and practices. Below is just a small selection of my many favorites.

Cameron, my very own handsome football player.

3 Month Old Campbell!

So, I do realize I just posted Campbell's 1 week old photographs (summertime = less computer time.) Well, precious Campbell has grown so much!

He is now 3 months old and has the most gorgeous blue eyes. I took these images today and I just couldn't wait to share!

He was SO sweet and snuggley!

Big brother, Bennett, had to get in on the action, too! After spending all that time inside watching lil' brother get his picture taken, we decided to head over to the park to play on the swings.

The swings are definitely Bennett's favorite!

YL T-shirt Contest 2011

We had a LOT of fun last year voting on a T-shirt design for the upcoming school year. It was such a success last year that I put together another couple of designs for the kids to vote one!

I am in a vintage kinda mood and these shirts sure show it!

My Herbs

I will be the first to tell you, that I do not have much of a green thumb. See Example below...
(i truly do not know what happened.)

But! My herb garden is flourishing! I am very excited. I have Basil, Lavender, Oregano, Rosemary and Thyme. I also have a separate pot for mint. Yum.

Now, to find the perfect recipe for mojitos and herb chicken!
